After they closed in the main ” Ramona Room “showroom, at the Last Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, the Mary Kaye Trio was followed by Ronald Regan’s act.  Hotel Owner, Jake Kozloff wanted to keep the Trio appearing at the Frontier, so Jake & Billy Burton made the decision to hold the Trio over. From 1am until 6am the “Dusk ’til Dawn” crowd partied in “Standing Room Only” for three shows nightly at the Gay 90’s Lounge for 20 weeks straight, while the Trio expanded in size with Frank Hudek on Drums and Hank Shank on Piano. The success of the live lounge show the second night attracted Sinatra, other entertainers, fans & high rollers. Entertainment Lounges spread throughout the city 3 days later.
